Program Start

A flight of 20 minutes. The view crossing the turquoise waters and numerous cays is spectacular.  

  • Arrival at Middle Caicos airport and a taxi ride through Conch Bar village.
  • Stop at Daniel’s cafe for refreshments and an introduction to Middle Caicos and its traditional arts & crafts. Women in the islands weave baskets, hats, make dolls and a lot of unique items.

Culture & History

   Sight Seeing Tour

  • Sightseeing tour by taxi to see the flamingos at the village pond, the settlements Bambarra and Lorimers, Sir Lorimer's grave, the Loyalist plantation and a beach with typical huts and a picturesque view of Pelican Cay.
  • A delicious local lunch at Miss Annie’s.
  • Walk the ancestors' Crossing Place Trail and enjoy the fascinating stories narrated by your local guide. A walk of about 45 minutes along a spectacular shoreline lined by remnants of sisal plantations.
  • Relax at Mudjin Harbor, enjoy a swim or the coolness of the shelter of a cave at the beach.
  • Cave safari and exploration with a local guide. 

2. Hiking Tour

  • 3 – 4 hours hiking on the Crossing Place Trail
  • Relax at Mudjin Harbor, enjoy a swim or the coolness of the shelter of a cave at the beach
  • The taxi picks you up to take you to Miss Annie's for a delicious local lunch

3. Kayaking

  • Taxi ride to Pine Barrel Landing
  • Kayaking of 4 – 5 hours in the East Bay Cay Reserve

4. Sailing

  • Taxi ride to Bambarra beach
  • Meet the local boat captains and learn about the construction of the Caicos sloops
