.. first off, i just wanted to thank you and your assistant for everything! our wedding was the most beautiful day of our lives--it was even better than I had pictured it in my dreams...everyone is still talking about it--and you should see the pictures, they are magical, and the video also---he did a magnificent job, everyone that saw it wished they were there. i will never forget it or you for making it all possible, you are the best!!      Thank you so much for all of your hard work in planning our wedding. As you know, I have spend some time as a Bridal Consultant. I was a little worried about having someone else plan all the details of my wedding, especially in a place that I had never even been to before! But, hats off to you. You did a great job and I wouldn't have changed one single thing. The minute we sat down together to go over the final details,  I knew that I didn't have a thing to worry about.

     Everything was perfect. The flowers were perfect. The location was breathtaking. Everyone involved with the wedding did their part and were on time for everything. The cake was awesome- and much larger than we ever expected. (We fed everyone in the restaurant that night!)

     Not only were you pleasant to work with, but everyone on the island was so nice. They spoiled us rotten everywhere we went. We really did not want to leave. :(     I would suggest your services and the Turks & Caicos Islands to anyone. If you ever need another reference, feel free to give me a call.

Hello Beatrix: Just wanted to touch base with you and tell you what a magnificent job you did for Dan and Cindy. There wedding was so lovely thanks to you. They were very pleased. I saw the pictures yesterday and the photographer did a great job!!!! I will keep my ears open regarding a possible rep job. We don't have a lot of tour operators selling the Turks and Caicos. It is a very expensive Island to visit and the average traveller looks for cheaper destinations unfortunately. I think the Beaches is probably the most popular with Canadaian Families. Our group certainly enjoyed themselves other than the little bug bites. Everyone enjoyed the food at the Allegro as well as the magnificent beach, pool and fabulous evening entertainment,not to mention the fact that the resort was not busy. It was great meeting you and I hope our paths cross again someday.

KIM & STEVE SMITH

 My name is Kim and my husband is Steve and we were married on 02-02-02 in Provo. What a dream. We hired Beatrix to handle everything and she did. We met with her the first morning we were on the island to provide documentations, to meet with the person who was performing the ceremony, and the photographer. (She arranged all that) Then we proceed on to enjoy our week before the wedding. Saturday came and we were the most relaxed couple to be married on the beach because Beatrix handled everything and I mean everything. She arranged for the flowers, dinner reservations, when to start (sun down), the champagne for the toast. I had several email interactions with her prior to arriving and she made herself very accessible to us after arrival. We can not say enough positive things about Beatrix. You made a great choice with her and a great choice of islands to get married on. Provo is beautiful, we can not wait to go back. If there is anything else we can help with, let us know.

I was just sending a message to you when I received yours, so let me add on. We had a very small wedding, just Steve and I. (This is both of our second marriages) I think the only thing I would of done differently would be my hair! Our day was perfect and very dreamyyyyy. I put everything in Beatrix's lap and she took care of everything. Our pictures are 5 by 7s and they gave us the negatives so we can do different sizes back here. If you what something different, express that to Beatrix. The owner of the photo studio is very pleasent and helpful. The whole island is very accomadating. We can't wait to go back to see the people we became friends with. When is the day? What else can I help you with? We stayed at the Royal West Indies. Where are you staying? How many people are attending? What are you wearing? Im so excited for you. We had the best time, we even ended up extending our stay from 7 days to 9.

AUDREY & STEVE

We had a wonderful time in Turks and Caicos.  It is really a water island -- so if you are into sitting on the beach, scuba diving, snorkeling, etc.  It is perfect. 

Beatrix made our wedding the success and occasion that it was.  She is very attentive to details and responsive to what you are looking for.  I was also trying to work with the wedding coordinator at our resort, the Allegro, and got very frustrated b/c of their lack of responsiveness.  For that very reason, I insisted on working with Beatrix.  In addition, Beatrix is very sweet and smart.  I felt like she understood what I wanted to do and how this was the biggest day of my life.  She offered great suggestions - like decorating the gazebo we got married in and even had thoughts on how to decorate it.  It did look great, as I think you can see from the pictures.

I think the important thing to remember is that you are in the islands and they don't have access to everything we have in the states and such.  For this very reason I enjoyed it b/c it made decision making much easier.  Three choices of musicians -- keyboardist, guitarist or steel drum.  Highly recommend the steel drums & bongos.  It gives a true island feel and is so fun.  Another thing was flowers and what was available down there.  I just used the island flowers of daisies and bourganvilleas (which are beautiful) and then had them get white roses shipped in.  Not too complicated and very much doable, plus I provided a picture of the bouquet that I liked for me.

I felt that any decisions I made with Beatrix I could trust her judgement and know they were going to get done correctly.  I also think she is extremely well priced for her services.  Plus, she has great contacts on the islands that help in getting things done right.

I highly recommend using Beatrix and NILA Destinations.

It is not a problem asking me questions about my Turks experience. I am an event planner, planning a wedding for a client in the Turks. Beautrix and her company are handling
the Destination Management items on her side for us and she is great. NILA
is very responsible and organized and I would highly recommend them.

The wedding I am putting together is for 70 guests as well, however I have
found the Turks to be beautiful but not the easiest place to obtain all the
items I need. We will be importing flowers, musicians and equipment to make
the wedding reality.

I am confidant in recommending NILA and Beautrix however be very clear on
your expectations and wants, because not everything is possible in the
Islands.

Yeah, Srilu and I would be more than glad to provide any info we could
to you. Actually, I think we've been itching to tell someone all the
things we learned at our wedding (lot's of, "If I had to do it over
again, I would have done it like...").

Anyway, if you want we could just email back and forth, or if it would
be easier we could actually setup a phone call sometime--that way we
could get a lot of your questions answered up front.

Srilu and I were very happy with our wedding overall, and, frankly,
it turned out great. Of course there are some things that didn't happen
as planned, and some others that we would do differently, but oh well.

Anyway, here's some details on our wedding.

We, too, found Beatrix over the Internet. We had actually chose the
islands first, and then after trying to get some info on caters,
photographers, etc., we decided it would be easier to just have someone
there help our with all the arranging.

I'm not sure if you've been down to the Caribbean before, but if you
have I'm sure you realize that things move at a much slower pace,
and trying to get anyone to do anything (let alone do it over the
phone from 4000 miles away) was just something that wasn't happening.
Beatrix did a great job of meeting with the seemingly endless number
of people to arrange things.

Anyway, we had about 42 guests at our wedding (of which 5 were young
kids). We had a private ceremony at one of the houses we rented,
and then had the reception (dinner, music, etc.) at another beach-front
house we rented. Beatrix arranged the caterer, music, pastor, wedding
certificate, video-agrapher, flowers, hotel rooms for before and
after our week stay (we rented houses for a week, but arrived
early and left later), and some other items. Of those, the
caterer was definitely our favorite--the food was fantastic, we arranged
for a bartender the night before (we had a kind of rehearsal
dinner/party
the evening before) and for the wedding night, and the price was very
reasonable (one of the other caterers was asking for around $95 per
head,
if I remember correctly).

We also had a photographer, but in our case we actually flew in him
from Miami for two days (the island photographers prices were awfully
high [there's only 2 of them], and found someone in Miami we really
liked).

A lot of the passing of information to guests we took care of ourselves,
although she did send us some info about what to do on the islands once
you arrive. There are only a few flights to the islands each day (when
we went there were 3), so arrangements aren't too difficult. We also
had rented the three houses side-by-side-by-side, so the majority of
guests stayed there. I had looked into a few other places and passed
the info down.

Whew! That's a lot of typing. Anyway, that's probably enough
information
to start, but by all means if you have more questions or want to talk
on the phone, let me know.

I can recommend Beatrix wholeheartedly!  She is wonderful.  All of her arrangements were impeccable.  She is very well known on the island, and her business associates are wonderful, professional and top notch.  
I did not plan a wedding in TCI.  Beatrix helped me plan a 6 day photo shoot,  There are many similarities between the two.  She showed me many locations, was thorough and understood my needs very quickly.  She arranged transportation for 30 people to a variety of locations on the island, made preparations for feeding these people, was very well connected with the hotel managers and was able to get me great prices for my group.  I took care of all my travel arrangements to/from the islands with my local travel agent, but let Beatrix deal with the accommodations.  I cannot recommend her highly enough.  Her attention to detail was terrific.  She thought of things I never would have, and she takes a personal pride in making sure everything is up to her standards (which are tasteful, and refined).  She is a lovely woman to deal with, and if I were to get married, I would let her take care of everything.  The island is beautiful (let her plan an excursion for your group, if you can).  The food is great, the locals are so nice.  And there aren’t too many tourists there yet.  I have done several shoots down there, and will continue to go back and hire Beatrix.
