in Turks for an extended period of time for our honeymoon and right when
we got back I started a new job. So it's been pretty back-to-back for

beautiful wedding on Sat!! It was more than what we
expected and vision for our special day!! The setup on
the beach was stunning!! The reception was fabulous and
looked great...I loved the center piece, Eden was right

wedding so special and flawless!! Dorell was great to
work with on our day, she went way and beyond and made

looked amazing. Everything went together
seamlessly, and I just can't thank you and your

and cool, which definitely helped me feel

beautiful, seriously beautiful!

heartbeat...the catamaran cruise was a huge hit,
the welcome barbeque dinner was put together so
well and the food...amazing. the West Bay Club
set up the reception right next to the pool, we
were at a long table all together...was simply
perfect. the Acoustic Guitar player was lovely,
and the dj did a good job. Brigitte did my hair
which came out nice, and Anne did a nice job on
my make-up as well.

Dear Rosalind,
Kim and I would like to thank you and Estelle and
everyone else that you arranged for us for the most
fantastic wedding day in the TCI!
Estelle was great to work with (I was very glad to have
someone so easy going and relaxed, a kindred spirit from
the southern hemisphere), Pastor Coleby was wonderful
(his singing Happy Birthday to Kim when we first got on
the boat was an absolute highlight), the captain and
crew of the catamaran were a lot of fun, the boat
itself, on the turquoise waters of the TCI, was the
perfect venue, Sherman and his limousine was most
accommodating with timing and route changes (we
particularly enjoyed the fresh bottles of chilled
champagne that appeared in the car for each leg of our
drive) and Clive, his fantastic food and hospitality at
the Bay Bistro was just the perfect way to round off our
most wonderful day (although we did get a couple more
hours of partying in back at the Villa afterwards before
the 17 bottles of wine and champagne that the 6 of us
went through on the day finally sent us to our beds!).
If
you are interested we have put a selection of photos
(some of which were taken by Estelle) on Kodak photo
gallery, I would be glad if you wanted to use any on
your website wedding galleries or whatever (I think we
look great and you can certainly see how much fun we
had!) or any of the comments above etc, just let me
know.

We just wanted to say "Thank You" for all the work
you've done. Estelle and Rachel were absolutely
wonderful and worked flawlessly!! They were spot on,
all the time never overbearing and on top of everything.
Everything flowed so smoothly and went just as we had
planned, thanks to all of your tireless efforts. We had
such a great time and can't wait to get back again.
Tropical Imaging sent us the link today for the
pictures and the blog, which by the way came out
perfect!!!!! I didn't expect anything less after
working with them last April. Chris and Kellie are such
professional, accomplished and phenomenal photographers.
Karen and Paul at Coyaba were exceptional hosts, with
nothing but raves and compliments re: the service and
food. Karen was always nearby overseeing the service and
accommodating our requests. She was a lifesaver
allowing us to put the two chairs together to allow our
nieces a place to rest (and their parents an opportunity
to share more of our night!!) I've even heard from
people who weren't able to attend the wedding, how great
the food was (how quickly word travels). William John
was a great DJ, getting everyone up and dancing. The
taxi service was wonderful also, allowing those to leave
early as needed. A huge "Thanks" to Pastor Colby, for
performing such a beautiful ceremony. I can't thank
everyone enough for their parts in our incredible day.
Especially you Rosalind, the unsung hero, putting in so
much time and effort in the planning. We went back to
the OCW after the reception and floated in the pool for
quite a while, enjoying the company of many of our
wedding guests. I'd also like to thank whomever sent us
the shooting star we saw that night, it just topped the
evening. I know it's a magical place to get married but
that was going too far for us Rosalind (JUST
KIDDING!!!!!) The shooting star was unbelievable
though! Looking forward to a long, happy, healthy life
with each other, after such a wonderful start.

Hello,
My husband and I recently had the time of our lives with
Nila planning a fairy tale wedding for our daughter on
Provo. From our first contact we were treated
with a feeling of partnership in an effort to plan a
magical week. We were given advise on a baker, florist,
photographer, musicians, resort, reception facilities
for both rehearsal and wedding, along with menu, wine
and hor' devourers advise, recreational activities for a
large group and precise timing and location for the
perfect sunset wedding. Could I say more? Hurrah!!!
Our dealings with Nila transpired with an amazing
person, Rosalind McKensie. If you are fortunate to have
her help, your planning will be a breeze. Now, I will
have to admit that my husband, bride to be and I are
pretty picky. We had over three hundred e-mails,
several phone calls to the island from California in a
twelve month period and there was never a complaint from
the Nila staff. Elizabeth Lightbourne with Nila
was present through the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner,
wedding and reception. She saw to it that not a detail
was overlooked.
We couldn't have chosen better consultants. Our every
consideration was given great attention and we were
always responded to professionally,
promptly and thoughtfully. Thanks to their diligence
and patience...it was beautiful! The memory of that
week will stay with me for a lifetime and made the
dreams of a little girl a woman's reality. Thank you so

Our wedding
coordinators with Nila Destinations were incredible! Rosalind and
Elizabeth helped us through every step of the way – from the tiny
planning details that started 1 year ago through e-mail to the moment we
left the reception as a married couple. Pastor Coleby, who married us,
was wonderful… he helped make the ceremony amazing. The cocktail hour
and reception was held at Anacaona Restaurant at Grace Bay Club, which
was absolutely perfect! Thanks to Anacaona's manager, Kali! We had it
all – outdoor lounge with couches, Tiki torches, overlooking the beach…
elegant dinner (bravo to the chef!) under a thatched roof… candles… and
dancing into the night with the tropical sounds of an incredible reggae
band. At the end of the night, our wedding ceremony photos were already
in our hands – and they were superb! Pennylaine did a beautiful job –
we hardly knew he was taking pictures – but he captured every little
detail of the ceremony.
It was simply a
dream – from the moment Brendan proposed to end of our “familymoon” in
Turks and Caicos.

Alex and I wanted to send a note to tell
you how pleased we were with our wedding. It was exactly what we would
have imagined it to be and more. You did an excellent job with the
decoration of the flowers, the conch circle, and the cake and registration
table. All the the little details were perfect. We were so pleased, and I
feel terrible that we did not get to speak afterwards to tell you how
happy we were. You could not have suggested a more romantic setting with
the cocktail hour at the min-lounge with Anacaona and the dinner there as
well. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was breathtaking..
I know we did not have much input and it
was a very small wedding, but you placed everything together perfectly,
and I wanted you to know just how meaningful the day was to us. We were
so thrilled we did not have to worry about a thing, because you had
everything set up and timed beautifully. I adored the girls from Captain
Hook Salon as well. They made me look beautiful and were also very
professional as well. If I could have chosen someone here in the states to
do my hair, I would have chosen them.
Its so hard when planning a destination
wedding, not knowing who to choose for vendors, but you made it very easy.
We had the best vacation in Turks and
Caicos and loved where we stayed. We have been recommending this island to
everyone since we have gotten back. Although we like how it is not so
popular, and more secluded than the other islands we have been too. It was
truly the best vacation and wedding our friends and family have been to as
well.
Beatrix, thank you again, and I hope you
know we would definitely recommend you to anyone inquiring about weddings

all of our 58 guests absolutely loved Provo!
Everyone had a blast at
Hemingway's Restaurant for our rehearsal dinner. It was a nice casual
way to start the weekend. Our reception at Anacaona was wonderful. The
food was excellent and the staff was very accommodating and friendly.
But our favorite part was definitely the sunset cruise. The scenery was
incredible, and it was so romantic -- such a great way to finish off our
special weekend. None of our guests wanted to get off that boat. We
would do it all over again! Provo is a very special place to us and
such a magical place to start our married lives together.

for Dan and Cindy. There wedding was so lovely thanks to you. They were

don't have a lot of tour operators selling the Turks and Caicos. It is a
very expensive Island to visit and the average traveller looks for cheaper
destinations unfortunately. I think the Beaches is probably the most
popular with Canadaian
Families. Our group certainly enjoyed themselves other than the little bug
bites. Everyone enjoyed the food at the Allegro as well as the magnificent
beach, pool and fabulous evening entertainment, not to mention the fact
that the resort
was not busy. It

My name is Kim and my husband is Steve and we were married on
02-02-02 in Provo. What a dream. We hired Beatrix to handle everything and
she did. We met with her the first morning we were on the island to
provide documentations, to meet with the person who was performing the
ceremony, and the photographer. (She arranged all that) Then we proceed on
to enjoy our week before the wedding. Saturday came and we were the most
relaxed couple to be married on the beach because Beatrix handled
everything and I mean everything. She arranged for the flowers, dinner
reservations, when to start (sun down), the champagne for the toast. I had
several email interactions with her prior to arriving and she made herself
very accessible to us after arrival. We can not say enough positive things
about Beatrix. You made a great choice with her and a great choice of
islands to get married on. Provo is beautiful, we can not wait to go back.

I was just sending a message to you when I received yours, so let me add
on. We had a very small wedding, just Steve and I. (This is both of our
second marriages) I think the only thing I would of done differently would
be my hair! Our day was perfect and very dreamyyyyy. I put everything in
Beatrix's lap and she took care of everything. Our pictures are 5 by 7s
and they gave us the negatives so we can do different sizes back here. If
you what something different, express that to Beatrix. The owner of the
photo studio is very pleasant and helpful. The whole island is very
accommodating. We can't wait to go back to see the people we became friends
with. When is the day? What else can I help you with? We stayed at the
Royal West Indies. Where are you staying? How many people are attending?
What are you wearing? I'm so excited for you. We had the best time, we even
ended up extending our stay from 7 days to 9.

We
had a wonderful time in Turks and Caicos.
It is really a water island -- so if you are into sitting on the
beach, scuba diving, snorkeling, etc.
It is perfect.
Beatrix
made our wedding the success and occasion that it was.
She is very attentive to details and responsive to what you are
looking for. I was also
trying to work with the wedding coordinator at our resort, the Allegro,
and got very frustrated b/c of their lack of responsiveness.
For that very reason, I insisted on working with Beatrix.
In addition, Beatrix is very sweet and smart.
I felt like she understood what I wanted to do and how this was the
biggest day of my life. She
offered great suggestions - like decorating the gazebo we got married in
and even had thoughts on how to decorate it.
It did look great, as I think you can see from the pictures.
I
think the important thing to remember is that you are in the islands and
they don't have access to everything we have in the states and such.
For this very reason I enjoyed it b/c it made decision making much
easier. Three choices of
musicians -- keyboardist, guitarist or steel drum.
Highly recommend the steel drums & bongos.
It gives a true island feel and is so fun.
Another thing was flowers and what was available down there.
I just used the island flowers of daisies and bougainvilleas (which
are beautiful) and then had them get white roses shipped in.
Not too complicated and very much doable, plus I provided a picture
of the bouquet that I liked for me.
I
felt that any decisions I made with Beatrix I could trust her judgment
and know they were going to get done correctly.
I also think she is extremely well priced for her services.
Plus, she has great contacts on the islands that help in getting
things done right.
I
highly recommend using Beatrix and NILA Destinations.
