Whale Watching a life changing experience
In January, February, and March it's WHALE SEASON The main herd of the North Atlantic humpback whales, pass by, visit, and often stay between Salt Cay and the winter breeding grounds of The Silver Banks (40 miles south of Salt Cay.) . We often have visits with them and are thrilled by their breaching and showy activities. You won't get closer to these gentle giants than with an unforgettable whale watching trip with us! When the seas are calm and we're close enough, you will get a chance to be in the water with the whales (snorkel only) for an unforgettable experience with some of nature's most awe inspiring animals. We can't guarantee that every whale watching trip we'll see whales, but we can report that our staff spotted more whales than anyone else on Salt Cay during this season. Just a 25 minute flight from Provo. Salt Cay - "The Island that Time Forgot" A Lover's Paradise. You will be picked up and brought to the Newly restored, Old Historical Mt. Pleasant Guest House. Across the salt paved road is the sea with spectacular snorkeling. If you're a diver, our dive sites are within five to ten minutes of the dock... And you'll have plenty of time to doze off in one our hammocks, or read a good book. Or you can take a hike and walk some of our pristine beaches without having to see another soul.
